Meet Despereaux and a few of the ladies

So this is Despereaux, our baby ram... Jojo was just on loan and he had to go by August first, so we got this handsome lad from Lisa...and we hope to soon have a few babies as cute as him...the ladies chased him off at first but now they have all gotten used to him and even baaaa back at him now that he is "on the other side of the fence"....

He ate out of my hand!!!

Yup, it's very true....  Last night, Bobo the llama ate out of my hand....what? bananas, of course! Who knew....?  Bananas  as well as raisins are their favorite treats.  And it was just my second try, he actually ran over to where I was standing to get his treat last night, and today, when this pic was taken, he actually came over just to investigate, and nibbled on my hand just to make sure I wasn't holding out on him.  One of the best parts of having all of our pets, is undoubtedly the fact that they all know us, and approach us without any fear...
